Student Placements

Bradog provides placement opportunities for third level students . Students have the opportunity to actively participate in a range of programs and projects that offer practical and valuable experiences in the youth sector.  However, places are limited and priority will be given to students undertaking recognised youth and community studies.

  • How to apply: Students seeking placement must send a C.V and letter of introduction to info@bradog.com outlining their knowledge of Bradog's services, how it would benefit their study and what they can contribute to Bradog.  They may be accepted on the basis of their CV or they may have to attend for interview.
  • Supervision:  Bradog will assign a staff member to provide orientation and supervision to students on placement. Students on placement will undertake the same orientation and induction as is required for volunteers.
  • Insurance:  A student's educational establishment must provide in advance indemnity cover for the duration of the placement.
  • Garda Vetting: Students on placement must supply in advance a copy of their Garda vetting check by their educational establishment.
  • Place of Work: Students will be based at the Bradog centre but will be asked to work in a variety of locations and on field trips.
