Diversionary activities: Clubs & Drop-Ins
Diversionary activities such as clubs, groups, Drop-In’s, After-School activities and street games are at the core of Bradóg’s youth work practice. These activities run by Bradóg staff and volunteers for young people provide regular positive, constructive diversionary activity away from negative and harmful activities such as crime, violence and drug abuse. Bradóg clubs and Drop-Ins provide young people with a safe space where they can be themselves and socialise with their friends.
The diversionary activities give the staff an opportunity to build relationships with the young people informally. Many developmental programmes are created, and support and advocacy given to young people as an outcome of diversionary programmes.
For more specific information on these activities contact us or consult our calendar.
